A client recently commissioned The Printroom Group to provide marketing and print services for an event in Amsterdam. They were hoping to collect many valuable leads at this event and were keen to hear our ideas on how they could make their exhibition stand more appealing, so our Account Manager worked with them to brainstorm ideas and share our expertise. The event was arranged by a team led by the Marketing Director, but it consisted of various people based all over Europe as well.
We came up with the idea of producing a scratch card that could be given out to all attendees at the event's entrance. The winning scratch cards offered prizes which had to be picked up from the client's exhibition stand, and the items were then split into main prizes (branded power banks, smart backpacks, VR glasses) and smaller prizes (boxes of jelly beans in smart, branded packaging).
We then supplied all their printed brochures and data sheets, along with branded paper bags (with rope handles) to give them away in. A spreadsheet was created by our Account Manager and loaded onto a Google Drive listing all items for the event, enabling various members of the team to clearly see where products were in each stage of production and who needed to action each part before moving onto the next stage of the process.
We supplied roller banners (which were placed around the venue) and floor and vinyl graphics (printed and installed in the event's sponsored cloakroom). The main floor graphic was produced in strips and laid down with the client's logo as the pinnacle. We also worked with our client's own design agency and produced various backdrops and a wide range of exhibition stands.
We also supplied fabric booths and branded fabric tables (with TV screens installed within the fabric stands). These booths created a nice area for the sales team to come to when they needed to chat quietly with potential clients about their needs.
All the items were carefully checked and packed onto one of our vans and driven from our head office in Bracknell, Berkshire, to the venue in Amsterdam, where our Account Manager – flown in specially to assist the team of marketeers and staff – was on-hand to ensure everything ran smoothly.
